Part-time Bookkeeper Needed Immediately! Telecommuting Negotiable. We are a small non-profit clean energy trade association located near South Station looking for a part-time bookkeeper, 5-8 hrs/wk (flexible hours), to cover for a staff member going on maternity leave beginning in early-mid August through October. If all goes well during the maternity leave, there is the potential for this position to be extended indefinitely beyond the maternity leave. Responsibilities include A/R, A/P, invoicing, check disbursements, expense processing and bank reconciliations. Some administrative support may be required during light-bookkeeping weeks (filing, etc.) If position is extended beyond the maternity leave, position responsibilities will also include payroll, monthly, quarterly and year end closings, cash requirements projections and assistance with annual audit. QuickBooks and MS Office experience, specifically with Excel, required. Non-profit accounting experience preferred.
