Budget: $500 to $1,000 We're looking for a Flash developer to help us integrate an interactive globe in with a political social networking site. When applying to this job, please indicate one or both of the globes we’ve listed in item #2 so we know you’ve read it. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS 1. The political social networking website is based on PHP and the Symfony framework, data output to be supplied in XML; the globe should be able to read and display such data. 2. Either preexisting Flash globes may be used or a globe may be created from scratch. We’ll want to customize the globe markers (at the very least the colors) depending on various inputs (user’s home country, gender, etc.) 5. The globe must update at regular intervals without a browser refresh. One second intervals would be ideal, depending on server and browser overhead. 6. The globe should be able to work with latitude/longitude coordinates. 7. Ideally, a Javascript will be used to detect the presence of Flash and show the globe when possible, with a 2-D alternative if not possible. Please note that Google Maps is not a valid option for the 2-D alternative since they are highly active in the political scene and we require a product that is politically neutral. This is an optional request, however. The globe is the major component.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities •Work closely with Director of Telehealth Programs through the entire contract •Manage the research, writing and submission of all grant applications •Ensure applications are well-written, accurate and compliant with the requirements of the funding opportunities with minimal supervision and completed in a timely manner. •Generates letters of intent and supporting documentation in response to Telehealth grant opportunities •Analyzing Telehealth grant requirements in order to write, answer, organize and submit grant applications •Researching product specific information and applying research for Telehealth grants •Distinguish and identify funding opportunities for Telehealth Programs Requirements/Essential Skills •Must have a minimum of 5 years’ of grant writing experience in healthcare industries •Bachelor’s degree and/or at least 3-5 years of experience creating grants; including demonstrated success at securing of grant funds •Accuracy with work, attention to detail and strong analytical, organizational, verbal, research, communication written and time management skills •Committed to the potential outcome of the success of our program •Ability to work with senior management •Adaptability and flexibility are required; and ability to work under pressure to meet grant deadlines •Experience working as a contractor Position Type Contract until job completed Pay rate Commensurate with experience To apply Submit a cover letter with pay expectations and summarizing any Telehealth or healthcare grant writing experience with your resume.
