Software Quality Engrg Mgr - US-VA-Arlington
Develop,implement, and analyze program metrics. Develop and implement key performance indicators. Conduct audits, spot checks, and process improvement activities. There is assistance available for relocation. Qualifications: This position requires an in depth understanding of services programs to include purchasing, invoice approval, subcontractor staffing, helpdesk operations, planning, and quality and process improvement. The successful candidate will have extensive experience setting key performance indicators, and understanding program management using metrics. Metrics experience must include operational and quality metrics. This valuable member of the Denny Mountain Media Web team will have the opportunity to work on Microsoft.com network sites and work directly with Microsoft clients. The Technical Producer's primary role is to coordinate and publish content for these sites accurately and swiftly. The Technical Producer must successfully juggle multiple publishing requests in a highly time-sensitive environment, and be able to swiftly diagnose and resolve publishing problems with minimal supervision. In addition, the Technical Producer must have the advanced skills to provide technical support and guidance to other members of the Denny Mountain Web team. The key responsibilities include: • Deploying, maintaining, and updating current portfolio of sites and services • Definition and implementation of bug and request tracking process and procedures • Communicating with Microsoft clients for the Web production team; identifying production needs and coordinating new content when needed • Managing daily production tasks • Acting as the principal Web production liaison between producers, editors, project managers, and clients to ensure the right content is deployed properly and in a timely fashion on the sites • Performing Quality Assurance (QA) checks on Web pages • Providing technical support to Denny Mountain Web team including troubleshooting Web site issues, understanding new technologies or tools, and providing team training on how to use them. • Like all Denny Mountain employees, actively thinking about and suggesting improvements to the way we do business. As such, the ability to meet multiple project deadlines, working independently in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented publishing environment is required.
